A New weekend getawaY and SIX different daytrips in plan for SPRING 2021!
We are happy to invite you to four completely different DayTrips and a new weekend trip to discover areas not too far from Tallinn.
We departure for the day in the morning from Tallinn and arrive back in the evening (or the next day). During the day, Mareti guides will guide share a lot of information with you about life in Estonia, history, traditions and culture, the places we visit, history and life today. As we care about food a lot, we have included lunch, and snack pauses to each day.
Let us know if you have any questions. We have many students from previous semesters who have taken part of all Mareti trips. The trips really are different and worth to join!
6h DayTrip to the biggest Waterfalls in Estonia – Jägala and Keila-Joa together with guided bus tour in Tallinn!
3-4h walk to Paljassaare peninsula, Katariina pier and Pikakari beach – hidden treasures in Tallinn.
DAYTRIP TO RUMMU AND PALDISKI
7h DayTrip to Rummu prison and quarry, and Paldiski with Pakri peninsula and the highest lighthouse – great alternative places to see and discover in Estonia.
8h DayTrip to Naissaar – one of the closed islands during occupation times and a place for sea mines production, we will visit by private boat and have tours with military trucks.
Weekend in Ida-Virumaa – the source of oil shale and everything around it: mines, production, abandoned and renovated cities that are all worth to see.
11h DayTrip to Prangli Island – one of the three islands that you can see from Tallinn.
10h DayTrip to Virumaa – Rakvere medieval fortress, Käsmu maritime museum, beaver trail and Viru bog in Lahemaa – to discover more of your new home-country Estonia!
